Introduction: Advanced cancer pain is a common problem that reduces the quality of life of those affected, requiring a comprehensive approach to nursing interventions. Objective: To analyze the available scientific evidence on the effectiveness of nursing interventions in the management of advanced cancer pain. Materials and Methods: A systematic literature review conducted in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. Protocol registered in PROSPERO under number CRD420261372331. The databases consulted were: Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, SciELO, and Redalyc; studies published between 2022 and 2025, in English and Spanish, were considered. A total of 22 studies were identified that evaluated nursing interventions in adults with advanced cancer. The quality of the selected studies was assessed according to the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice model. Results: Nursing interventions were effective in reducing pain intensity, improving quality of life, and enhancing adherence to treatment. Pharmacological, non-pharmacological, educational, and organizational interventions were identified, highlighting the positive impact of integrated palliative care, various mind-body therapies, and the use of best practice guidelines. Barriers to access to opioids, healthcare staff training, and sociocultural factors were also identified. Conclusions: Nursing interventions have a significant, multidimensional impact on the management of advanced cancer pain. However, the heterogeneity of the scientific evidence suggests a need to promote research through studies that optimize evidence-based clinical practice.
