Implant with immediate loading and placement of PRF in patients with external resorption. review of the literature and presentation of a clinical case

Introduction: External resorption has increased over the years since multiple traumas occur, where the loss of one or several dental units progressively increases. Likewise, it can be noted that rehabilitation has also advanced significantly, where it can be highlighted that Success rates of dental implants with immediate loading as substitutes are considerably high, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. Objective: To analyze the surgical procedures applied to a 58-year-old female patient, diagnosed with external pulp inflammation who warrants implantation with immediate loading. Materials and methods: It was framed in the quantitative positivist paradigm, being field-descriptive research, with a non-experimental design in a clinical case modality, instruments such as the clinical history and also the photographic camera were used as a collection technique. Result: Surgical techniques such as minimally traumatic extraction, xenograft placement plus PRF and the insertion of an immediate implant with activated surface were applied using the immediate implant technique. Conclusion: obtained was the optimal preservation of the structures and stability of the implant, necessary for adequate management of soft tissues and preserving gingival aesthetics.
