Violencia escolar en instituciones educativas: Una revisión bibliométrica

El objetivo del estudio fue realizar un análisis sobre la producción científica relacionada con la violencia escolar en el contexto educativo registrada en la base de datos Scopus. Se adoptó una metodología bibliométrica cuantitativa, y de esta forma, la estrategia de búsqueda implementada permitió la identificación de 63 documentos desde 1995 hasta 2023, donde el análisis de redes destacó nodos centrales con relación al bullying, agresiones y procesos grupales en el ámbito escolar. Los resultados revelan que la investigación se centró en el acoso escolar, los tiroteos y la victimización de los alumnos, encontrando una contribución significativa en términos de construcción teórica y propuestas de intervención dirigidas a la prevención de la violencia escolar. Asimismo, se identificaron 169 autores, siendo Dumitriu y Williams los más prolíficos en este campo y el 58% de los trabajos analizados fueron publicados entre 2019 – 2023. Por lo que se muestra como estos resultados evidencian un creciente interés por la investigación del tema en cuestión.
