Basic education is the encounter of children with formal education. That is why the involvement of parents and representatives is vital for the achievement of meaningful learning. The objective of this research was to propose family orientation strategies as an alternative for the optimization of family integration as a function of educational quality in the Bolivarian Liberator Primary School. The research is framed in the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach of non-experimental design. The modality was a feasible project, supported by a descriptive field research. The study population consisted of 10 teachers and 20 parents and/or representatives. The survey was used as a data collection technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. The data analysis technique was the statistical study. The results confirm the little or no participation of parents and representatives in the educational institution where their child attends school. It is concluded that both teachers and parents and representatives are aware that the family should participate in the various activities planned at the school in general, as well as in the classrooms in particular, where their child studies. Strategies are suggested so that the management staff, in coordination with the classroom teachers, can carry out planning that integrates the family and all those involved in the educational process.
