Abstract

Active pedagogy is considered in education as a means for personal, social, and professional self-determination through the analysis of reality, it offers the teacher and the student spaces for collaborative, productive, and proactive learning, however, we found some difficulties in the processes. classrooms in higher education and that through this research seeks to characterize the incidence of the methods, techniques and strategies applied by teachers within the active pedagogy in class during the teaching and learning process in the context of higher education for students. students of the Basic Education Career of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Guayaquil. The research methodology used was quantitative and descriptive, inserted in the field research modality, obtaining the relevant aspects from the reality of the institutional context whose objective is to promote the continuous training of teachers in innovative pedagogical processes and their application in the learning of students. students.
