Abstract

The anthroponymic perspective of the new forced migrations fundamentally raises the semiotic problem that is shaping new meanings and interpretations of one of the crudest manifestations of the current civilizational crisis of capitalism, such as unauthorized migrations. Insofar as it expresses in different ways how this human mobility is being managed, subjected to serious and extreme conditions of vulnerability throughout its displacement, having a strong impact on the anti-immigrant public policies of the transit and destination States that intervene in the management of these migrations. As a result of these interpretations, people on the move are exposed to a greater violation of all their human rights and are more prone to xenophobia and discrimination. In this article, because of the above, the main contributions to the study of international migration and development are, first, to question the traditional categories of conceptual analysis of these new forced migrations, followed by an attempt to expand the limits imposed by legislation on migration, such as the so-called "safe third country" where Mexico is currently located, since they modify the general perception, including the academic vision, towards the treatment of this human mobility, especially when it is labeled as "irregular, unauthorized or undocumented" or as "migration of migrants", and then, when it is considered as "irregular, unauthorized or undocumented".
