Action plan for the oral health promotion in education

Abstract

The promotion of oral health is a priority today as it seeks to strengthen the comprehensive health of the student. From here, this research aims to generate an action plan for the promotion of oral health in students of Secondary Education of the National Educational Unit C.E.I.C.O "Maestro Simón Rodríguez" of the La Velasquera Campesino Settlement. The study was developed under a positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, under the modality of a feasible project, supported by field research with an evaluative level. The population made up of (19) teachers and the samples were census-type due to the finite characteristic of the population. The data collection technique used was the interview and as an instrument a script of questions. Among the results obtained are the conclusions of the diagnosis and the inputs to design the action plan. In addition, the procedural aspects of the action plan, its design and the activity diagram were elaborated. Within the recommendations obtained, once the action plan has been applied, it is considered opportune that the teaching and managerial staff of the school institution encourage the participation of the family and the community in the different activities planned for the promotion of oral health in the and the students of the National Educational Unit C.E.I.C.O "Maestro Simón Rodríguez".
