Fundamentals for the strengthening of competences and skills for entrepreneurs

Abstract

It is imperative that the entrepreneur possesses strength and security at the time of starting a new business in order to overcome the limitations that will be imposed on the way to undertake a new project, a product or an innovative company. For this reason, the study proposed to analyze the foundations for the strengthening of competencies and skills for entrepreneurs. In this sense, it was necessary to frame it in a non-experimental, documentary and descriptive design. It is worth mentioning that several bibliographic sources and some previous antecedents were reviewed. It was concluded that every entrepreneur requires competencies and skills that are exclusive to the entrepreneurial being, these are: self-awareness, self-criticism, self-confidence, belief in his vision and mission, taking responsibility for his failures and risks, ethics.
