Prototype of procedure manual for the administration of the bar “LA BODEGUITA” cantón Durán

Abstract

The procedures manuals serve as a support in the follow-up of the daily tasks that are performed in an organization and thus comply with the tasks established with an outstanding administration of the entire entity. The article is the result of a qualitative descriptive study carried out with the objective of proposing a Manual of Administrative Procedures for Bar la Bodeguita S.A. The population under study consisted of 03 workers of the company under study. The data collection technique used was the interview and non-participatory observation. The instruments were the observation guide and the questionnaire of semi-structured questions. The results showed a lack of administration in the performance of their activities, and the lack of control of functions in the workers, as well as the lack of control of the products that are marketed, generating an inadequate customer service. Therefore, there is a need to design a manual of administrative functions detailing the activities, responsibilities and control of the products marketed in the establishment in order to ensure proper operation, profitability and customer service.
