Transformative pedagogical actions in sexuality education for preschool students

Sex education at an early age should be seen as a field of human achievement, so the teaching of sex education in the preschool stage, intends that infants learn to know and identify themselves, to value themselves and to value their equals.The purpose was to assess the teaching praxis in its pedagogical actions as a transforming agent in the teaching of the area of sexuality and gender at the preschool level, in the Initial Education Center "MENCA DE LEONI". The research was oriented in the socio-critical paradigm, under the dialectical critical approach, with the participatory action research method, in the field research modality, of a descriptive nature. Therefore, a felt need of a group was met, approached by a group of 12 researchers made up of teachers, the techniques used were participant observation and the discussion group, for the collection of information a notebook was used, a recorder and mobile phone. A description of the institutional context was carried out, starting from the diagnosis that determined the felt need, the action plan was designed, having as a result the description of the experiences shared with the teachers, which served to recognize the value of promoting in the classroom, comprehensive sexuality education
