Abstract

In recent advances and achievements, researchers, through their work, have played a distinguished role, combating exclusion, denouncing and overcoming barriers, promoting policies, reforms and support that promote precise transformations in schools to respond to the diversity of their students. For this reason, the study developed set out to analyze the role of the researcher in the context of inclusive education for students with special educational needs. In this sense, the present research was based on a non-experimental, documentary and character design. In this methodological context, bibliographic documents, some antecedents and previous works related to the topic were investigated. It was concluded that the proposals developed by the teacher in the role of researcher to improve the processes inherent to inclusive education should be considered with increasing force to change the school towards inclusive schools (essential if we want to achieve an education for all) and that its protagonists cannot be left out: the student (all its diversity).
